Eat  Greek  and  live  longer!
Greece is a  country  well - known for  its beauty and its lovely  weather. Most Greek people are farmers. They earn their living by cultivating the land. They plough and plant the fields. They water the plants and trees. When the plants grow, they harvest the crop. When the fruit is ripe, they pick the fruit from the fruit trees.

Tourists always have fresh and delicious fruit and vegetables because of Greece' s Mediterranean climate. No matter  where tourists travel in Greece - the Peloponnese, Central Greece, Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly, the island of Crete or the Ionion or Aegean Islands - they will always find fresh produce to please them. 
Then again, a respectable percentage of the Greek population is occupied in dairy farming, so one can enjoy different kinds of cheese, like soft cheese, smoked cheese, touloumotiri ( cheese preserved in a goatskin), feta, kefalotyri ( a hard cheese from cow's milk), too.
The botton line is that dairy farming, agriculture and tourism are of egual importance to the hospitable Greek people!
